Meet Jenny Joslin, Annette Mia Flores and Kendall Watkins of High Herstory, a brand for the female cannabis revolutionary. These #BFFs create videos, branded content and canna-forward series’ that are all at the intersection of cannabis and feminism, including the High Herstory series which features cannabis consuming comedians telling stories from women’s history which are recreated in “high-sterical” re-enactments. They also have a Women in Weed section that is all about guts, grit and lipstick.
They have been collaborators and close friends since they bonded slinging egg-rolls in their Texas college town. Their work has been featured on MSNBC, CNNMoney, Jezebel, Upworthy, The Huffington Post, and Policy Mic.
If they were hosting a dinner party and could invite three people dead or alive, they all agreed, “Alice Guy Blache, first narrative film director who was until recently left out of history. We just made a vertical video about her and would love to hear about her process first hand! Ann Richards, former Texas governor and believer that government should be for all people. We want to ask Ann, how the hell are we gonna fix the current political situation? And Selena Quintanilla, because she’s our favorite rock star.”
