b.Blunt Talks: The Cannabitch is back

Radically Improving The Way Women Smoke Weed, One Roll At A Time

This is a Part II of the b.Blunt Talks interview with Jahna Rose, founder of Cannabitch, a women-owned cannabis rolling papers company created for women who smoke weed.

Jahna wanted to create a brand meant for everyone. Her passion is about building a community around a product everyone uses while representing every type of woman. Cannabitch Brands are body diverse and racially diverse, and the messaging is all about sisterhood.

Fill It. Tuck It. Lick It. Stick It.

These all natural, FDA approved rolling papers are made by women for women. What makes them unique is that each booklet is represented by a #badassbitch as the “smoke-model” and each is printed with an empowering, high vibe intention to give you good vibes during your sesh.

The Yellow Pack represents “This is My Self-Care Routine”. The Red Pack is says it all, “You’re Smokin’ Haute”. The Blue Pack (our favorite) “I Licked It So It’s Mine”. And finally the Purple Pack “Pass Joints Not Judgements”. In case you want options, you can buy a Variety Pack for $12.00.

They also have some pretty sick Gear so you and your squad can represent!

Trigger Warning: This product may cause extreme happiness

Jahna, it’s great to see you again. Congrats on the official launch the Cannabitch site. It’s pretty dope and I”m sure you are pumped. What has the #cannasquad been up to since we last spoke?

We’ve been straight up hustling, with production schedule delays and other small “biz” hiccups along the way. But, we’ve been trucking along and can’t wait to get our little paper company in the hands of as many badass females as possible.

What Rolling paper best describes you?

I love them all!! The Purple Booklets is probably my fave. I just love her style so much, and of course, my fave quote, “because female cannabis users are often judged.”  That’s bullshit. But we also have a huge list of empowering quotes for our next design release that I can’t wait to show you!

Where can you buy Cannabitch Rolling Papers and Gear?

On our website! Or follow us @cannabitchbrands. We’ll be hitting up headships, boutiques, and dispensaries and publish a list of retail locations as they come! We just know everyone will enjoy smoking with our papers.

What were some of the things that you learned unexpectedly since launching Cannabitch Brands? Have there been any challenges that you’ve had to overcome?

Production, quality control, how the paper industry is so intensely male-dominated. Our cannabis rolling papers are unbleached white. Weirdly enough that “natural” tan color is not always a natural coloring. Our production facilities only work with natural hemp blends with FDA standards and pay fair wages. Our booklets and papers are made with renewable resources, and we ship with as minimal packaging as we can.

Think of Cannabitch as the girl squad you’ve always wanted

How was cannabis introduced to your lifestyle? Do you have a favorite cannabis-related story or memory?

Being a girl from Brooklyn, cannabis was always around. My parents didn’t smoke, but my friends did. I didn’t get really into weed until I met my hubby, he bought quality herb and smoking with him was fun as hell. Thirteen years later, it’s still our favorite activity, with a killer playlist, of course.

What’s your spirit animal, and why?

A tiger. It’s my Chinese zodiac, but it is also always the answer I get in those spirit animal quizzes! According to the spirit animal guides, the tiger puts a special emphasis on raw feelings and emotions. The tiger spirit animal symbolizes primal instincts, unpredictability, and the ability to trust yourself. By affinity with this spirit animal, you may enjoy dealing with life matters spontaneously, trusting your intuition, and acting fast when needed. This describes me to a “t”.

Righteously Woke. Empowered Cannabis Rolling Papers

Where are you located, and what is the weed scene like there?

Colorado has a killer weed culture. It’s a dope feeling to live in the first rec-legal state. Denver also recently decriminalized mushrooms, so I’d say we’re pretty progressive. We’re just waiting on legal smoke lounges and social spaces for cannabis!
